Buffer

You may have already heard of Buffer; it’s one of the more popular selections on the list.

In a nutshell Buffer is a really useful tool that allows you to schedule when your content will be published to your social media accounts. It works with nearly all of your social media profiles and will optimise the success of the content you share.

Let’s say you have tonnes of awesome content packed and ready to ship to your Twitter followers. Simply add your content to Buffer’s list, set the date and time that you want it to be published and Buffer will do the rest for you. This gives you the freedom to do what you please care-free, safe in the knowledge that Buffer is taking care of your content.

Buffer works hand in hand with analytic plugins so you can identify the peak times that your content receives the highest amount of interaction; you can then set Buffer to publish accordingly.

FollowerWonk

FollowerWonk is a Twitter specific analytics tool with a focus on user interaction.

FollowerWonk provides many unique tools that allow you to source data and ultimately ‘Optimise your social growth’. These include:

As it says on the tin – MyTopTweet is an online service that allows you to identify which Tweets have had the most interaction through Favourites and Retweets. This will allow you to see what type of content is most popular with your audience.

You can also search anyone’s Tweets, so even if you’re not on top of your game, you can see what other people are doing to gain social media success.

Cyfe: All in one dashboard

All-in-one dashboard by Cyfe is a central hub where all of your data analytics can be visually displayed in a clear and helpful manner. Its social media analytics are second to none and it is truly one of my favourites on the list!

The dashboard is a blank slate that you can fill with widgets, suited to specific social media profiles. These allow you to track data such as:

If you’re a blogger, (or anyone looking to add a share and follow feature to your site) this ones for you.
