Make Your WordPress Site Beautiful This Year With Our 5 Top Themes From January (so far…)

Happy New Year to you all!

We’ve had an incredible start to the year here at Tap and we would like to thank all our new users and current users for checking out the latest version of the product (right, that’s the sales pitch over!).

With the New Year comes a new collection of WordPress themes and our designer (Mitch) has put together a selection of his favourites so far from January 2016 (yeh it’s a little early but who cares?).

Best Portfolio / Agency: Arosha

Arosha – Demo 2 – Just another Arosha Demos siteThis Arosha blog is absolutely perfect for anyone looking for a minimalist portfolio / agency WordPress Theme. The clean design and layout makes life easy for the user and is a perfect way for you or your agency to showcase work. Arosha also comes with the ability to keep your followers in the loop, providing an option to add a blog to the page.

Best Magazine: ArtMag

Artmag – Just another WordPress site

The Artwork theme is great for anyone that’s a fan of the Kinfolk or Cereal magazine collection. Its neat layout is perfect for people looking for the organic feeling of a magazine WordPress theme; its good use of fonts, one click import and the ability to choose 6 different layouts is what makes it our best magazine theme for January.

Best Blog: Applique

Applique | Art – Just another My Blog siteAre you a wannabe fashion blogger or just looking for a well designed WordPress blog? Then Applique is the one for you. We know from experience that creating grid blogs is hard to conquer but we think the Applique theme has mastered it. The aesthetically pleasing design makes it one of the most elegant blog WordPress themes around in our opinion.

Best Corporate: HotStar

HotStar | WordPress Business Theme
Now on to the best corporate theme of January. Choosing a corporate theme is hard (the selection is so varied), so we’ve tried to nail down the one that can be used across a wide range of industries. The HotStar theme does exactly that, its simple design and layout means the theme is perfect for a diverse range of businesses.

Personal Favourite: Dogma

Screen Shot 2016-01-12 at 16.26.45Finally we have my personal favourite, this award goes to Dogma. The video based WordPress theme is easy to use and provides a fantastic theme for people looking to showcase their work, whether you’re an architect, designer or working in video – this blog should work wonders for you!

So there you have it, our best themes from January so far! A big shout out to @dahztheme @2035themes and @themeton for your awesome work.
