WordPress themes for bloggers and creatives from Solo Pine

From time to time at Tap we love to show you our favourite WordPress themes; from themes for musicians, the best portfolio themes and our current favourites, to themes for summer and themes for travellers.

Well, today it’s my (Rachel here!) first opportunity to share a selection of themes that I’m currently loving and I decided to start with a little behind the scenes from one of my favourite WordPress theme creators – Solo Pine.

Solo Pine have a lovely selection of WordPress themes available for bloggers and creatives.

Why do I personally love Solo Pine so much? Well, they just so happen to be the people from which I bought the theme for my personal blog. But more than that, they continue to inspire and engage by bringing out new, loveable, easy-to use and stunning themes.

On their website it says that Solo Pine is built around ‘a shared belief that thoughtful design, quality coding, and exceptional customer service are paramount.’

Behind the scenes

I got in touch with Sam & Sebastian designers and creators of the Solo Pine themes to hear a bit about their story, why they love WordPress and to see if they have a favourite theme…

solo2-2

“We’re so happy to hear you’re loving your Solo Pine theme (your site is looking great, by the way!) and really flattered you’d like to include us in an article you’re writing.

We’re Sebastian and Sam, a husband & wife team creating WordPress themes for bloggers and creatives. In 2013, we took a leap into the unknown, establishing a small business together and Solo Pine was born!

We aim to create clean, straightforward, functional, and attractive WordPress themes for bloggers to display their content to the masses regardless of the genre or audience. We love the WordPress platform in particular because of its ease of use. You don’t have to know a lick of code to have your own professional-looking website. And we think it’s amazing how it’s empowered so many people to stake out their own little corner of the web!

While it’s impossible for us to choose a personal favourite of our themes, we are excited about our latest Blog & Shop theme called “Alder”. We love its optional header Instagram feed, airy design, and the option to have your own web shop using the WooCommerce plugin. We can’t wait to see what people create with it!

Warm regards,
Sam & Sebastian”
